65648 I was lucky enough to attend this show. With a .moe opener and fabulous NW weather we were all psyched to be at this little used and now closed venue. Phil played wonderfully with the most amazing Viola I've ever heard live or taped. Please listen closely...he's seriously tuning in another planet. The whole place freaked out. I love this music. He had gone to shows from the mid 80's until the early nineties(I think Vegas 92 was his last). Needless to say it blew him away to the point that he said he never heard the Dead play so good at any show he ever went to. What a great way to celebrate the 4th. Great weather, great company, a nice opening set by Moe. and some fantastic jamming by Phil and crew. Our smartest move was heading out during the encore to catch the bus to the parking lot down the mountain. We could hear Dancin as we stood in line and made it on the first round of buses just as it ended.
